Stock up on spare parts before heading to Hickory Hill

Kevin's Race Service won't be going to that track so it wouldn't hurt to have an extra tube, chain, tear-offs etc. Kevin will be at Winchester this weekend so you can grab a few things from him there.

Millsaps Training Facility and Dunlop will combine to offer three motocross training camps

At Area 51 Motocross in Batavia, New York, the week of August
9-13, 2010. Close to Dunlop’s headquarters in western New York, Area 51
Motocross offers an ideal location for MTF’s first training camps on the road.

Conducted by Colleen Millsaps and Bryan Johnson Jr., there will be two separate 2 day camps each providing four sessions of on-track training amounting to over two thirds of the instruction in one of MTF’s renowned One Week camps. Areas covered will include turn track, figure 8’s, braking, starts, whoops, rollers, jumping and scrubbing. A one day mini bike camp will also offer two sessions of on track instruction.

Colleen Millsaps of MTF says, “we have a strong relationship with Dunlop
and when they invited us to do this near their headquarters, we jumped at the opportunity. This is the first time we have taken our program on the road and we know there is a strong riding community within a 100 mile radius of Buffalo. We are very excited about it.”

Primo Marotto of Dunlop added “we are big supporters of MTF’s training and obviously doing something like this in our backyard is something we feel an obligation to do.”

Chris Moser and Corey Kandefer of Area 51 Motocross had this to add, “we have had a long relationship with Dunlop and the exposure for our facility, by virtue of this endeavor, is something very exciting to us here at Area 51 Motocross and WNY racing.”

August 9-10 Big bikes only $600
August 11 Mini bikes only (65cc-85cc) $300

Message board registering

These days there are anywhere from 6 to 12 spammers trying to register for access to the NEMA message board so we switched to a manual approval process. That keeps out the guys trying to sell drugs and pirated software but if you try to register with a user name that's not a little MX related or identifiable as someone associated with NEMA or motocross you might not get approved. Please keep that in mind when choosing your user name.
